About TechGripe
Gripes welcome. Fixes celebrated.
Tech is supposed to make life easier. Then your car hides the speed limit until you start navigating, a publishing tool offers 1,440 options in one dropdown, and an emoji picker ships without a single heart in the hearts category.
TechGripe is where regular, tech-interested people post the tech that bugs them. Bugs, bad design choices, broken hardware, shady features, all of it counts. When something happens to you too, tap Same gripe. Every gripe shows how many people have it and how many days it has gone unfixed. When it gets fixed, we say so, and the counter stops.
It started as a fan tracker for the "Did they even test this?" segment on Waveform: The MKBHD Podcast. The Waveform tab lists every gripe the hosts have aired, with a scoreboard of what's been fixed. The Community tab is for everyone else's.
We can't make a company fix anything. We can make the count hard to ignore.
TechGripe is an unofficial fan project. It isn't affiliated with Waveform, MKBHD or Vox Media. Say hello at hello@techgripe.com.
